Dear Subcontractor,

Thank you for your interest in Manasota Commercial Construction. We have provided premier construction services to the Southwest coast of Florida for 20 years earning a reputation for high quality construction and being on time and on budget for all of our projects. We are also known for the integrity of our staff, being fair and paying on time with all of our subcontractors.

Our onsite supervision on all jobsites and proactive safety program insures a safe and secure project site for all parties involved. We have outstanding communication with all subcontractors through email and weekly jobsite meetings. Involvement by all subcontractors in developing construction schedules keeps them realistic in order to achieve our goals. We also have an excellent relationship with all our suppliers to ensure an attitude of trust and confidence in them.

We are always looking for new subcontractors to add to our premier list of approved tradesmen. Please fill out our Subcontractor Pre-qualification form and fax it to our office with your current certificates of insurance. Our fax number is 941-795-3732. Please see the following list of insurance requirements below:

The Sub-Contractor is to secure, pay for, and file with the Contractor all insurance coverage with executed contracts prior to commencing work. All certificates for Worker's Compensation, Public Liability, Property Damage Liability insurance, and such other insurance coverage as may be required by the specifications and addenda thereto, in the following amounts:

  • Workman’s Comp (min)
    • $100,000 per accident
    • $100,000 disease per employee
    • $500,000 disease - policy limit
       
  • Liability "Combined single limit"
    • Bodily Injury/Property Damage
      Completed Operations Aggregate
      General Aggregate      		 $1,000,000 each occurrence

  • Additional Insured Endorsement (at no expense to the Contractor) naming Manasota Commercial Construction, a Florida corporation, it’s officers, directors, and employees as additional insured. This insurance for the additional insured’s shall be as broad as the coverage provided for the named insured subcontractor. It shall apply as primary insurance before any other insurance or self-insurance, including any deductible, maintained by, or provided to, the additional insured.
     
  • Automobile $1,000,000 combined single limit
     
  • 3 Year products/completed operations coverage following job completion
     
  • Waiver of Subrogation
     
  • All insurance with 30 day cancellation notice to Manasota Commercial Construction
     
  • Sub-Contractor, may not without prior written approval from the Contractor:
    • Assign payments due under this contract.
    • Assign or sublet any work to be performed under this agreement.
    • Any sublet subcontractor will be liable for all insurance coverage in the same amounts listed above as required by the subcontractor under contract. The subcontractor will be responsible for providing insurance documentation of the sublet subcontractor prior to commencement of the project.
